CLODAGH CAREY is a young, vibrant and dedicated careers advisor. She has a particular interest in helping teenagers and young adults in the career guidance process and has a vast amount of experience in this area.
She has worked as a travel recruitment specialist, helping young adults to secure their dream jobs abroad, including the USA and Canada. She has also worked in different post primary schools across the country as a teacher and guidance counsellor, advising a wide variety of students on college application systems, courses, apprenticeships, careers etc and has helped clarify their options for further education and life after secondary school. She has particular experience helping students with additional needs apply for college and avail of extra supports available.
She is an active member of the Institute Guidance Counsellors and a is a graduate of NUIG and NUIM. She has engaged in a wide variety of extra training in areas such as mindfulness and resilience training and is acutely aware (and empathetic) to the struggles and anxieties some people can face when making decisions about their future.
She also has experience with psychometric testing and is well equipped to help clients navigate a range of online and other resources available for those looking for career guidance.
